We recommend measuring with your mouth slightly open, from middle of the nose to slightly under the chin. Kids ages 8-12 may wear normal or kid's masks and should measure, as should men who may wear the x-large or not.
The outside is polyester and the inside is cotton, three layers - with a pocket to insert a filter if you would like. We include a 2.5pm filter. You can order more of these from amazon, walmart, ebay, etc. While the cloth mask is washable, filters are meant for single use.
Our masks have adjustable straps, to keep them fitted perfectly!
We recommend washing them in a delicates bag to protect them from getting tangled in the wash. Super hot water or a full heat dryer may cause the cotton liner to shrink. Hand washing and air drying is great too, and many of our ladies like to lay their masks liner-up in the sun for extra sanitizing power.
